September and February still the official months of fashion week in New York, London, Milan, and Paris the aim of the game is to showcase fashion for the following season, even though some designers choose to go seasonless these days.
For Spring 2018 designers awoken your eyes with hot trends popping up and rekindling their undying love for your purse and heartstrings, it was evident that colour was certainly one of the spring/summer highlights. One of our favourites came from New York designer Christian Siriano, who opted for volumes of colour and a diverse runway that represented the woman of today. Gucci opened the doors to Milan Fashion Week, Alessandro is still choking you with that 70’s influence of sequinned gowns, dresses, jackets, turbans strong purple power suits and Gucci crystal-embellished tights. Iconic moments with fashion house Versace as Donatella Versace paid homage to her late brother Gianni Versace, with a special 20th-anniversary tribute to Gianni Versace’s vision, his work, and friends the S/S18 collection featured 12 of his original prints. The super, super, Supermodels of the 90’s Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, Carla Bruni, and Helena Christensen walked hand in hand wearing individual designed gold chainmail slip dressesto ‘Freedom’ by the late George Michael.
